RM100 Touch P is a portable high speed viscometer is designed for "real viscosity" measurements under high shear rates according to ISO 3219 (DIN11-22-33). Due to its modular design, the instrument is also capable to work with different measuring systems including ASTM D 562 / TS 5809 (Krebs-Stormer), ASTM / ISO 2555 (RV), "MS-R1 to 5" or "MS-BV 1-1000". RM100 has a maximum speed of 1500rpm which allows creating shear rates more than 5.000 s-1 depending on the measurement geometry.
Its modern springless technology and sturdy design ensures undeniable reliability. The RM100 TOUCH P has a 7” touch screen and comes with a stylus. This easy-to-use screen lets you see all measurement parameters at the same time. Unlike other Krebs viscometers which can only measure up to 141KU which is defined in old ASTM D 562 standard, RM 100 TOUCH has a wide torque range which makes it also capable of Krebs-Stormer measurements of the high viscosity paints without switching other measuring system or spindle. With extrapolation of the standard KU curve, measurements up to 250 KU is possible.
RM 100 TOUCH P has a integrated temperature sensor and it is delivered with a laboratory stand but without measuring system. Required measuring system or systems shall be ordered individually.
RM100 TOUCH P, also has a LR Version which allows higher accuracy for determination of the appearent viscosity of low viscosity liquids. Instruments come with a calibration certificate.

Springless Design
Lamy Viscometers does not contain any spring for torque measurements. This innovative design allows measurements without being effected by the ambient temperature and also avoids the necessity of precise leveling of the instrument. RM100 Touch Portable is designed for tough industrial enviroments.

Measuring Systems
Stainless steel discs measuring system for relative viscosity measurements in a 600-ml beaker. This system is used for measurements in accordance with the ASTM-ISO 2555 standard.
It is supplied as standard on the Black One (MS 2 to 7) and can also be used with the Rheomat First RM, RM 100 and RM 200.
This measuring system is widely used in coating industry to determine the viscosity of paints, varnishes and other coatings in grams or Kreps-Unit (KU) in accordance with ASTM D562.
Together with viscometer B-One Touch or First RM Toch, standard range of 40-141KU is measurable while with high torque range of RM100 allows you to measure the products with viscosities up to ~250KU. To measure the viscosities of putties and pastes, a low torque "paste spindle" is also available for all BO, First RM and RM100.
Coaxial cylinder measuring system according to the DIN / ISO 3219 standard. Each component: bob, tube and cap can be bought and used separately, depending on using or product requirements.
MS-DIN measuring systems could be thermostated with thermostatisation cell DIN / ISO 3219 or EVA MS-DIN. It can be used with the First Touch, RM 100 Touch and RM 200 Touch.
