W´Add 603 is a polyacrylate modified silicone defoamer for the use in solvent based and free coatings of different composition.
W´Add 603 can be used as antifoam agent and defoamer in very different systems. The wellbalanced composition improves normally substrate wetting as well as flow at the same time. Application fields are can coatings, airdrying industrial coatings, wood and furniture coatings, solvent free UV-systems as well as EP-coatings.
The optimal addition quantity, calculated on total formulation, is between 0.2 and 1.5% which should be determined by serial tests.
