W´Kyd BS 830 is an airdrying silicone modified alkyd resin mainly for the manufacture of lasting protection coatings for steel constructions. High gloss paints based on W´Kyd BS 830 have good drying and resistance properties and very good gloss retention.
W´Kyd BS 830 is recommended as the only binder or in combination with conventional long and medium oil alkyd resins for the manufacture of high quality industrial and decorative paints.
W´Kyd BS 830 is compatible with nearly all long oil alkyds, phenolic and maleic modified hard resins. It is partially compatible with some medium length alkyd resins.
