Modular milling system for DISPERMAT® dissolver available in vacuum, pressure, ceramic and nano version.

Dispersing and fine grinding combined in one single instrument

In combination with a milling system APS the laboratory dissolver DISPERMAT® changes into a closed, discontinuously operating bead mill. The system is easily adapted to the corresponding dissolver via the dissolver shaft or the adapter flange. The DISPERMAT® can be used as a dissolver as well as a bead mill.

The closed vertical bead mill is available as follows:
Bead mill APS
Basic version for 0,5 mm milling beads. Also available in vacuum, pressure, ceramic and nano version.
Bead mill APS nano
Version for extremely small beads from 0,1 mm to 1 mm. Also available in vacuum, pressure and ceramic version .
Bead mill APS ceramic
Milling impeller, sieve and the insert part of the container are available in SiSiC or ZrO2. Also available in vacuum, pressure and nano version.
Bead mill APS vacuum
Fine grinding in a completely closed system under vacuum. Also available in ceramic and nano version.

Modular bead mill designed for pressurized operation. Also available in ceramic and nano version.
Dispersing and fine grinding combined in one single instrument
The following picture shows the dispersion process with APS Laboratory Pearlmill :
The Milling System APS can easily be fitted to the DISPERMAT® laboratory dissolver. It is filled with the appropriate quantity of millbase. The milling toll is lowered.
The milling beads are introduced whilst the milling slowly rotates.
The sliding cover is lowered to seal the milling container. The millbase is then dispersed. The cover can be easily raised for taking samples during the dispersion process.
On completion of the dispersion process, the sieve sealing plug is removed and the milling container is discharged with assistance of compressed air.
